A little while ago I acquired a Yamaha PortaSound PSS-560. I bought it mainly for nostalgic reasons - it was the first keyboard I owned (actually the second if you include the Casio PT-1) and also my first introduction to FM synthesis.
The Digital Synthesizer section of the keyboard gives rudimentary control over the 4 operator FM synthesis engine - unfortunately the sliders are actually 5-position switches rather than continuous controllers - but even when the Digital Synthesizer switch is off the 21 built in presets can be modified with the sliders, so quite a large range of sounds is possible.
Most of the PCM percussion samples in the keyboard can be triggered from the keyboard, here they are in 48kHz/16bit format:

Hi,
We have one of these for sale. Do you have any idea what a fair asking price would be? It was barely used.
Is it okay if I make reference to your site in my ad on Craigslist as a place where folks can get a real user’s opinion or experience with it?
Thanks!

Sure, linking to my site is fine.
I’m not sure what the keyboard is worth - I got this one on eBay for £2 + £8 postage…so I guess not much.
